With the recent snow and cold weather the good news is our snow pack is in the average range according to Alberta Environment. And there is still plenty of time for the snow in the mountains to build before our rafting season begins.
With the unusual warm fall we had the snow in the mountains didn’t start to accumulate until 4 weeks later than usual. But with the weather we’ve been having, the depth of snow is building and making up for lost time. If mother nature just does what she usually does we should have plenty of water for the coming season.
Like every year the guides at Otter Rafting Adventures are looking forward to the coming season. Aren’t you?
Sending this link on to Piers in New Zealand to remind him of his great summer!
