With the white water rafting season on the radar we are starting to get many resumés for the great job as a rafting guide.
We are looking for some full time, experienced guides to help us put on an incredible rafting outing for our many guests. Many of our guests know how much a good guide can contribute to the rafting experience.
Our season is short, like our summers, so expect to be out on the river often and having a ton of fun playing on the river with all your paddlers. On a more serious note, please have all required tickets (First aid/CPR, river rescue) and resumés with references to be considered for a position. We are also looking for part-time guides, trainees and support staff. If you want to be involved in an exciting industry that can lead to world wide travel and employment, this can be your dream job.
For those who would like some insight into the attraction of rafting and the type of people who gravitate to this sport, check out “So you want my Job”. I have seen people from all walks of life who have been interested in taking others paddling down the river, showing them a good time and challenging the river on a daily basis. Did you know this is a 100th year anniversary for Mark Twain - he (got) the attraction of the river as well.
